New Aqua Painting

Last week I house sat for sweet friends from church, and spent time with this pretty girl.

This time, the gardener did all the watering in Dani's garden, so I hung out with Sadi inside, since we had record-breaking heat. See more of Dani's Garden here, if you want to see a lovely space.

I decided to embrace my "free time" away from home, with practically no chores, and paint.

Here is a detail of one section:

Below, another detail:

And another. You can see this piece has a variety of soft aqua and turquoise hues:

It is painted with acryilc paints with graphite accents.

I plan to list it on Etsy this week. Meanwhile, it is hanging in my living room...telling me to go ahead and do some turquoise accents before fall.

Word for the Day:
Deuteronomy 8:18
You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Your painting is really a beautiful piece, Revi. I don't think I'd be able to part with it, especially if I changed out my accent pieces to coordinate with it!

OOO, I am sooo in love. Turquoise and aquas are my favorite colors in the world and I am using quite a bit of it in my new home.

I love aqua Revi! You really have a talent. I wouldn't know where to begin to paint an abstract. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
