White Stuff to Keep...

I sort of have a system...

It is loosely based on the "one for you, one for me" system.

You know how it goes...when you go shopping for someone else, and you see something you love...you rationalize.

One for you...one for me.

My system is similar...and goes something like this:

If I spend $20 at the thrift store, I must include a few items to sell for at least $20, so the things I keep for myself are FREE.

How is that for rationalizing? I'm keeping all these goodies for myself.

That milk glass vase makes a matching pair...which comes in handy if I want to do a symmetrical mantel.

Word for the Day:
Psalm 17:8
Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings,

I've been hunting around our house for white and cream pieces for the mantel, but our mantel is so shallow that the bigger pieces won't fit. You've found some wonderful pieces that I wouldn't want to share either!

Love the Milk Glass! And LOL, I love your reasoning...works for me!

I totally get your reasoning, Revi. I do the exact same thing. My personal reasoning is that I buy what I want during the year . . . and my husband does the same, and we've agreed that's our Christmas presents to each other each year.
