It's Time for a Change...

Hello, love. We need to talk...

We've been together for years now.
I still love you and I think you're beautiful,
but I feel it's time for a change.

When you hear what I have to say,
I hope you'll agree - this will be better for both of us.
We'll look back and be glad we did it.

It's been fun, but now it's just feeling tired.
This situation is just not meeting my needs.
We know each other inside and out.

I need something new and fresh. I want to be with you, though.
I believe with some work, and some professional help,
we can both get what we want from this relationship.

Let's just try and see how it feels, ok?
It's only paint. If we don't like it, we can
always try something different.
Trust me.
To be continued...

Word for the Day:

Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Oh, she looks pretty nervous to me!
But when it's time, it's time.
Have fun with your makeover. :)

Hello, again! Thank you for the info. I am going to check it out as soon as I can :)

The furniture/book thrift shop is on the corner of Monroe and 10th on the north side of the street.

Sometimes the furniture is a bit overpriced, but I've been able to haggle with almost everyone that works there. One of the men gave me a shelf for $15 that was marked as $50! I always find great books in fabulous condition there, too. They have a whole back room full, with book case after book case full of them. :)

Fun! (I love the color...but like the Bradys said: when it's time to change, then it's time to change.)

It has a great color now, but I know the feeling of wanting a change. Anxious to see what you come up with.
