Pretty shape, pretty legs and a nice price.
Even the Fleur de Lis fabric is pretty, and I think it might be silk. But it has problems...
It is nothing a coat of off-white paint and some drop cloth can't fix. She'll work well with something new I want to try in the living room...
I have waited so long to do a "summer" look in the living room, I think I want to go ahead and begin implementing the look that will carry me through until Christmas decor begins;
a HEAVY INDUSTRIAL & FANCY FRENCH look.
Hmmm...maybe I'll post some elements I've been collecting and some inspiration soon.
But for now, take a look at the projects other bloggers have been working on!
Features from last week's party:
Julie from Renaissance Mermaid shared a wonderful new coffee table she and her husband collaborated on.
I love how she kept the hardware on the door...
Joy from A Vintage Green shared some lovely vintage vignettes and some photo & editing tips.
Cecilia from My Thrift Store Addiction shared a beautiful beachy table scape...using vintage gray Fire King plates she found at a thrift store and other lovely things.
THRIFTY LIFE THURSDAY #28
This is a gathering for people who enjoy hunting for treasures
that may have previous experience or lived a former life elsewhere.
Please share items that are second-hand or are composed of second-hand materials.
Types of Posts to Share:
- Home decor, furniture, collectibles, garden items and even wearables are welcome, as long as they have a second-hand element.
- Please, no food items, new pieces from "real" stores, or crafts, unless made with upcycled, thrifty finds.
- Hand-me-downs and curbside finds are welcome, as are items found in thrift stores, garage sales, antique shops, flea markets and other interesting places.
- Treasures may be listed as you found them, or with your updates, tweaks, and re-purposes; befores and afters are both welcome.
- Items need not be "vintage" but must be pre-owned or second hand.
- Posts including Etsy and other shop links are welcome! For visitor enjoyment, please link to your blog post, not directly to your Etsy shop.
Etiquette:
- Though it is not a requirement, it would be lovely if you would follow Revisionary Life via Bloglovin', Blogger or subscribe via email. Links are located in my sidebar to the right.
- Please link your post (not your blog address) back to Revisionary Life.
- Please visit at least one other party friend.
- I'd love for you to comment and introduce yourself if we've never met before. :) Otherwise, don't feel obligated to leave a comment.
Features:
- Featured items must meet the criteria above.
- Only posts that link back may be featured.
- I will try to leave a comment or email you and let you know if you were featured!
Word for the Day:
Hebrews 10:24-25
24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,
25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some,
but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Hi Revi! LOVE that chair--it will be gorgeous in white :) Thanks so much for featuring my tablescape & for hosting another fun party! Blessings, Cecilia
I love the chair too and what a bargain! Can't wait to see her all fixed up!
I love the shape of the new chair and it is going to look gorgeous white! Can't wait to see your new decorating. Thanks for the party!
I hope you save the fabric on the chair and frame it! Love the curvy shape of it and the price was a steal. Looks like quilt night here. Thanks for hosting.
Revi, I love that chair's frame, and I'm a total sucker for dishes too (so much so that I'm sharing some I scored for a great deal at auction). Fun to join, thank you for hosting.
Rita
Thank you Revi for Thrifty Life Thursday No. 28. Lovely treat to see my vintage vignette featured this week.
Joy
I know it will be beautiful once it has the "Revi" touch.
Thanks always for a fun party. You picked some great features. Joy and Cecilia always find such interesting stuff and know how to use it.
Love the coffee table too.
Blessings,
Audrey Z. @ Timeless Treasures
