Friday night after work, I ran a quick errand to my local SAM's CLUB. I picked up a nice big pork loin, and a bag of baby carrots to cook for my Wednesday night Bible Study group. It's my turn this week.
As I was making my way toward the front of the store to check out, I stopped dead in my tracks.
Though you can't see very well from the photo above, this large piece is lovely stainless with a butcher block top on heavy locking casters. DROOL. TONS of storage.
There was a nice man in the aisle there who smiled at me. I figured I must have been drooling, so I said, "THIS is SO cool!" He agreed and said every woman needed one. I told him I'd love to have it in my dining room! (You know, the one in my pretend loft...the same one I've dreamed about since college.)
I lamented that I didn't have a camera with me. He obviously took pity on the drooling woman, snapped a photo and emailed it to me right then. (My phone is not exactly smart...and photos on it are not very good.) My camera was at home as usual. Thank you, Lord, for nice people! Especially ones with smart phones!
Seriously, this piece would make a great sideboard, workroom storage/work top, or room divider.
Here's the official photo from the Sam's Club web site:
Ultra Heavy Duty 12 Drawer Rolling Workbench
Does not the NAME alone bring a thrill?
And to top it off - there were MORE companion pieces!
These pieces range in price from about $200-$400.
Though the price is not cheap, it's not bad for such quality and style.
If you have a penchant for a little industrial vibe in your eclectic home, don't forget to check out the real deal at places like Sam's Club and Harbor Freight. Often the quality is better and the price is lower than "designer" pieces that imitate the real deal!
I have not been compensated in any way for this post. I just thought these pieces were exceptional, and the prices fair.
So, of course, I wanted you to know!
Word for the Day:
3 John 1:11Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.

OMG - now I'm drooling over here in Montreal too.............
That first one is to die for!!!
I have never been to a Sam's or Costco, but I might have to send a friend to check these beauties out. I would love them in my craft room! They would look great next to primitive and rustic pieces.
Drooling right along with you! That piece is just awesome and I too love adding in an industrial touch. Last year for Valentine's day my husband bought me a stainless steel island from a kitchen supply company for our kitchen. I swear it is the best gift I've ever gotten, plus restaurant supply is also a good place to get a deal.

What awesome storage! Are you going to buy one?

I'd love to line the garage walls with these babies...oh, the possibilites.
It's would be a perfect industrial touch to any kitchen! I'm a new follower! Blessings, Tammy
I bet you could concoct something similar with a metal cabinet. Just slap some wheels on it and a butcher block top and it would be cool too. Now that big one is pretty extra sweet with all the drawers but I'm thinking you could devise such a thing and save a few bucks. Then again, sometimes it's nice to see what you like and splurge!

Thank you nice photo taking man. I would have drooled over this, too. I think I'm going to start a pretent "Craft Room" in my head. You know, the one, like your loft, that I can decorate with all the cool stuff I see out there that I can't have.
