Shades of Greige

You know how one thing leads to another?
Now, I want a nice cloche to fit on this thing.

Remember it?

Another score from Julie's sale...

Solid wood.
I like wood. I just like it painted!

ASCP French Linen is my current crush.
I love all shades of white mixed together.

I love the way it looks over gold leaf,
a bit watered down...

And I've painted something for a future kitchen update...

After all, little details DO make a difference.

I have lots of little projects going.
And then there's Thanksgiving
and Christmas coming...
so much to do to ready my house
for family and friends.

Isn't that the reason
we do this type of thing anyway?
Hospitality. Family. Memories.

Word for the Day:
1 Peter 4:9
Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.

PS:  I just realized. I've passed my 200 post milestone!

Sounds like you've been very busy planning something for your kitchen. Hmmm...I wonder what you'll be doing in there. Are you getting it all spruced up for company? Will we get a sneak peek of your projects before everyone finds their way home for the holidays? Will they arrive to find the Thanksgiving turkey painted white because it had too much wood tone to it? Heh, heh...I wouldn't put it past you to find a way to give it a white wash somehow. :)

Haha, Liz! Yes, Revi will find a way to have a beautiful white French Linen turkey! And in high style, too!

Soo beautiful! I wish I could paint like that...

Thanks, History Girl. Believe me, you CAN! Cheap paint brush and dollar store sandpaper are all I used. The chalk paint is great, but flat paint will give you a similar look.
