Before and After with Spray Paint!

If you ever get tired of my posts about the
next best thing to chocolate,
aka SPRAY PAINT, please comment and let me know.

While I won't stop spray painting,
maybe stop posting about it...
... quite so much.

I spray painted a  number of thrift store finds yesterday!
We had no wind here, which is rare in spring.

Some of the photos were taken yesterday,
and light was fading. The colors in some are
not quite right, but you'll be able to
imagine , and compare the colors in
the photos with good light.

From here on, this post will be relatively word-free.
Enjoy it while you can!
(Sunday is a day of rest, after all!)

The first photo is a before, next is an after.
(Well, maybe a few afters in some cases.)

Here goes:

I'll bet you started wondering where all the white stuff was?

The colored things may be for Hannah, as she
prepares to move to OKC for the summer
and she wants to try a "bohemian" style studio apartment.

Working with color after doing so much
white was fun. Sorry the light in
some of these photos is not great.

Word for the Day:

James 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,
who does not change like shifting shadows.

Walk and take photos in the light!

I like the candle sticks--so fun! I know those are going to look great in their new home. We've had your wind yesterday and today We didn't have much in March which is kinda unusual. Happy Sunday !

Glad you explained the color. I might as well buy gallons of pink spray paint for my daughter since she thinks pink is the new white.

I love a good spray paint makeover! The green pedestal bowl is my favourite. Could you tell me what spray paint you used on that one?

Thanks!

Claire

Oh my goodness, such great transformations. I think those butterflies are a Home Interiors product. I never dreamed they could be made over to look so cute!

:)

What great colors you've used on your objects! I've been painting old baskets, pedestal bowls, and candlesticks, too. Isn't amazing what paint can do!

I'm with you on the spray paint. It cures all ills! I consider it my best friend but I wish I had stock in the paint company.

I too am in love with spray paint and still on the white band-wagon. Loved seeing a bit of colour! I especially loved the butterflies

Who ever invented spray paint I would kiss, well if he was still alive. It transforms even the ugliest pieces. Love the colors, and love white. Your white plate looks like pottery barn piece! Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration at Sunday's Best Par.tay!
