Modern Art or Garbage?

Well, maybe both.
I'm not saying "I" think this is garbage.
It really is. Well, you be the judge!

Is this art?

What about this?

Look closer...

How do you begin with this...

...and end up with this? (in about a half-hour)

It's easy.  Aluminum cans. Spray paint.
Gel stain  or watered acrylic paint.
A key or some other small embellishment.
Hot glue. Cardboard or backing paper.
A thrift store frame.

At the very least, it's a good conversation starter!

a time to keep and a time to throw away...

May you see everything through new eyes today!

If there's rust and metal involved of course it's art.

I am currently holding onto a bag of soda cans. The likes of which have been cut down to remove the tops and bottoms.
Now, this is not what I had in mind-- but instead a couple of vintage styled crocheted hats...
Your trash/art...my trash/hats...same difference, right?

I need to leave them outside and let them get rusted and the key to get rusted and then I would put it on my easel and be so happy!

Great inspiration. Thanks for linking up to the party!

I think it's kinda cool. Any time you put your creative self out there you will find a soulmate who will see the beauty.
Thanks so much for linking.
