Mirror, Mirror...

Don't mind the masking tape.
Last fall, I found  this 1930's mirror in a garage sale for only two bucks.

It was just before Thanksgiving, so I didn't bother doing anything with it.
I just stuck it in my hoarder's garage.

Saturday, I remembered it so I retrieved it.
I didn't have a plan for it when I found it, but I love mirrors.
They're sort of like generic artwork. They can go anywhere.
If you ever see a cheap one you like, just buy it.

I love the details on this one - simple but not plain.

The next time you see this little mirror, it will be painted white
(of course). It's on stand-by for my bathroom redo.
(Just another project waiting for my house to be a single-person dwelling.)

I have already found a new shower curtain, rug, and soap dispenser.
I'm trying to decide on towels and a window treatment.
Once those things are in place, the fun begins...
finding the right accessories to fit my white scheme,
support the bathroom's functional needs, and look great.

Look at this cool idea from Not Just A Housewife.net
It's the coolest way to hang towels...

Stay tuned...

Word for the Day:

1 Corinthians 13:12
Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror
then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part;
then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

May you see Him clearly today!

That mirror is gorgeous! I agree, they are wonderful pieces to decorate with.

And I love that towel hanger idea as well!!! I have a bunch of old 1920s glass door handles that I don't use.

Thanks for linking your mirror project to Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop. I'm thrilled to be co-hosting this week! I've had a mirror since I was a kid that has had several different frame colors: gold, pink, white, black. So versatile! Good luck with your project!
