Last week, Holly, the Community Manager from Chairish, asked if I might be interested in doing a style board for Chairish, featuring one of their accent chairs.

Chairish is an online, curated source for vintage furniture and decorative accessories.

"We understand when choosing a color palette for a room, it can be hard to step away from basic neutrals, and going bold is a big decision. We'd love for you to share your taste for color by creating a styleboard around an accent chair by taking a room from white to bright!"

For someone who has been enjoying creating a neutral environment for a couple of years, It sounded like fun, and it was! (Think shopping, with-someone-else's-money-fun!)

I hope you can see this...

I shopped for an accent chair first. Then, I shopped for art, lamps, rugs, side tables, pillows...and wow. It was fun without the fear of buyer's remorse.

This was my first style board, but I think this might be a fun way to pass a little free time...and they have lots of cool vintage items from which you can choose.

Click HERE to see the array of vintage accent chairs. They have a wide range of styles and price points - something for everyone! Some have been updated and reupholstered, others are in original condition. Many pieces come in pairs, too, which is great for designers.

Thanks, Holly, for this experience, and a great opportunity to learn about a new resource.

Word for the Day:
Genesis 37:3
Now Israel loved Joseph more than any other of his sons, because he was the son of his old age. And he made him a robe of many colors.

  2. That looks like a lot of fun Revi. I like the industrial cart with rollers.
