One bleached deer skull and antlers...
And, no, I did not bag it myself.
One Brownie 8 mm movie camera...
In its original case.
Four vintage brass and antique white fruit plaques...
With lovely chippy paint.
Two pewter wall plaques with unknown historical figures...
They look Italian...don't they?
A brass fish letter opener...
5 decks of vintage playing cards used in various casinos...
Some have holes drilled in them...does anyone know why?
A mid-century Russel Wright sugar and creamer set that stacks...
If you are interested in any of these items before they get to Etsy, let me know.

ReplyDeleteYou're killing me! Where do you find this stuff?
ReplyDeleteWell Revi ... that's a lot of interesting stuff. You should do quite well on Etsy with all of it.
ReplyDeleteThe Brownie movie camera should be quite collectable. I think the pineapple is kinda cute.
Good luck.

Great stuff. I really like the projector.
ReplyDeleteI heard that they drill the holes into the used decks of cards from Vegas so nobody can use them to cheat. The casinos would sell the used cards, but only after they were drilled.
You really do have a knack for finding unusual stuff Revi. I love the camera! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
I found this answer about the drilled holes in casino card decks on ask.com: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120525023445AAgiJpF Essentially, it cuts down on cheating. Sometimes the corners of the card deck are sawed off. It depends on the casino, I guess.
