If It Does Not Move...

Paint it Old White.

Still going on my first quart of Annie Sloan Old White.
Here are more items I painted this weekend.
Angel wings.

An unfinished wood tray.

A divided box.
(Unless otherwise stated, bottoms
of items are all painted too.)

Side view of divided box:

A wooden candlestick.

A small photo frame.

A second terra cotta planter.

Another good sized wooden tray.

A medium sized shadow box.

Baskets on two smallish topiaries.

A thick wooden plate.

A Christmas tree.
(I glazed it afterward to bring out the detail.)

Wooden folk art carolers.
(They were odd colors.
You'll see them later completed.)

Two more small wooden houses.
(This is pretty close to life size.)

I still have paint, so I'm still painting!
When I've cleaned the last of the paint from the can,
I'll post a complete photo gallery, if it will all fit in one post!

I am actually feeling dread at running out of the paint.
I still have plenty of flat white latex, oops latex,
spray paint and oil paint, so I can stay busy until
I make the trek for a new can or two.

(If my consignment stuff sells, I'll get
more old white, some french linen, and
duck egg for future projects!)

Word for the Day:

Psalm 15

A Psalm of David.

1 O LORD, who shall sojourn in your tent?
Who shall dwell on your holy hill?

2 He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart;

3 who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend;

4 in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honors those who fear the LORD; who swears to his own hurt and does not change;

5 who does not put out his money at interest and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.

  1. Hi Revi~
    Girl, you are on a roll with this paint!
    I'm thinking your final count will have to be part 1 and part 2... there will be a lot of painted items. You could do mosaics.
    It's easy on PicMonkey!
    ...love all your pretties, Pat

  2. I like the wood boxes and little church/buildings!
    So what are your plans for these items Miss Revi? Have you ever tried wax over the paint? It gives it a lovely patina.I bought some and haven't painted anything in so long it is still unopened. I need some ASCP, I think everyone has some except me. :?
