Revisionary Life - New Listings on Etsy!

Etsy is not new for me, but I haven't
listed anything this year yet.

After doing a little research,

I found out these cork fishing floats
are no longer made -
for about 40 years!

I've listed 4 of them on Etsy.
As much as I love Coastal Cottage Style
and the colors that go with it,
I'm land-locked!
I hope they'll find a good home.

I would really like to be a sort of
eHarmony for stuff and people.

I find cool stuff all the time.
It may not be perfect for MY home,
but I know SOMEONE will love it.

I look for REAL materials,
metal, wood, ceramic, glass...

Classic or funky designs...

Quality items you may not be
able to find anymore...or maybe not for a
reasonable price!

My shop sub-listings are:
Vintage Funky
Revisionary Style
and
Original Paintings

I plan to add Original Jewelry soon...
I'd love it if you dropped by for a look!

Meanwhile, if you're looking for
something specific, send me an email.
I'll be happy to look while I'm out.
Be sure to let me know your price range...

The Case of the Missing Number

I really like this little thing.

It is simply charming.

It is obviously handmade...yet found
for next to nothing in a thrift store.

Only it didn't look exactly like this...
First, it looked like this:

Then it got painted in ASCP Old White,
and stayed that way for a few weeks.

Still charming, but not quite right.

I was sure it still needed something.
So I stenciled a number on it,
which was promptly sanded off.

Yep, the number didn't look right.
So it had to go.

Instead of repainting, I kept sanding.
And I like it this way best of all.

It may go in the kitchen, or possibly the bathroom...
all I know for sure is that I'm keeping this one.

Word for the Day:
Revelation 13:16-17

16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
