RE-visionary, re-VISIONARY

It's Saturday morning.
You're out and about.
 You see something...large or small.

The price is right, and you're not sure what
you'll do with it, but you know it could be cool...

You see past the tarnish and grime.
Quality materials like metal, wood and stone...
well, they just sort of grab you.
So you lay your money down...not much money.

You bring it home. You put it in that place
where you keep your 3-D to do list.

It's Saturday again. You've cleaned a bit.
You feel like painting,
and you remember your treasures.

You grab your paint and brushes...

And you play. Until it looks right.
Then you do another.

You wonder why no one else saw
past that wonky blue candle.

Could they not see that this metal,
glass and stone object could so easily...

...be brought into a new millennium?
You marvel at the miracle of paint one more time.

You are reminded why you love garage sales.
And why you frequent thrift stores.

You see potential.

You can see what was
what is and what might be.

You are a VISIONARY.
Or just maybe, a RE-visionary.

You are created in
the image of God, the Creator.
Remember that always.

Word for the Day:
Romans 4:17
As it is written:

“I have made you a father of many nations.”
He is our father in the sight of God,
in whom he believed—
the God who gives life to the dead
and calls things that are not
as though they were.

  1. Not many have your eye and vision. That really is a great idea to paint the metal. You have given it new life!
